Mamma's Day Off!

Today was Mamma's day off. Ish. She had three hours of yoga this morning then another two hours tonight but we got her all to ourselves! Dad, Fiona and I had already gone tubing down the river but Mamma had not yet had the chance and really wanted to so that is what we did today.

We only had three tubes so we went to the grocery store and got a smaller inflatable one for Fiona. Another thing we needed were shoes that could get wet but stay on our feet so at the grocery store we also bought four pairs of $3 fake crocs.

Once we were at the place where we launched our tubes we saw a a small car that got stuck trying to drive through the river to get to a party. The party had everyone driving their trucks through the water to get to it on a big patch of rocks. After passing that, we hiked extra far to a peaceful, beautiful and amazing part of the river and started our journey down the river.

The way down was so much fun and after bumping into rocks, sticks and people we were at the bottom. The last part of the ride is my personal favourite. It is where the river and the ocean meet and it is like an amusement park ride! We all had so much fun on Mamma's day off!
