Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho...

Nothing very exciting today, especially compared to the past few days! After breakfast we said goodbye to La Paloma Lodge and got in the boat to return to our car (remember, no road access!). The driver took a small detour to show us the crocodiles that were hanging out by the river bank, the same river where we were kayaking yesterday. We had seen people swimming in the river as well, perhaps not advisable!
The drive back out through the peninsula was beautiful and peaceful. The girls were quiet in the backseat, looking out the window, taking in the view and the present moment. We have seen and done so much in the past four days it was nice to just sit and let it all sink in. The drive from Drake Bay to Uvita was about three hours.

We drove a little further to have lunch in Dominical at Cafe Mono Congo.

We strolled through the little town and the girls got souvenirs. Then back to Uvita to check in to our home for the next two nights, stopping along the way to get Ceviche from a roadside stand for dinner later.

Our accommodations provide decent wifi and laundry so we took the opportunity to get caught up on our stories on the blog and get caught up on laundry.
A very simple day. Happy Valentine's Day. Only love...
