New routine. Wake up, put on your bathing suit, dive into the ocean and swim a lap around the boat. Great way to start the day for the whole family!
White Bay greeted us this morning with a beautiful rainbow.

Larry and I took the dingy back to shore to drink a coffee in the Muskoka chairs in front of the Soggy Dollar and the girls got started on school.

Then another great breakfast and off to sail to Soper's Hole on the west end of Tortola to drop off Captain Sam. A bit of practice docking our 45 foot catamaran in front of what is left of Soper's Hole and our coach, Sam was off and we were on our own.
The one business in all of Soper's Hole that is (partially) back up and running is Pusser's. So we arranged to meet our local friend, Jon, for lunch. We have rented a house from Jon and his wife Katy several times over the years and it was great to get to catch up with him. It was also good (and a little depressing) to get his take on how much farther along the BVI could be in the hurricane recovery process if the local government would get out of the way of the rebuilding efforts.

After lunch it was back on the boat for a sail back across to Jost Van Dyke. This time we went to Great Harbour where the world-famous Foxy's is. Laura and I seared some local fresh tuna, made a red cabbage salad and coconut rice for dinner on the boat while Do and Papa took the dingy into Foxy's to have a quick cocktail and see what all the fuss is about.

On their way toward Foxy's they snapped a few pictures of Peace Out from the water...

After a couple of cocktails with Foxy himself, Do and Papa came back to the boat for the seared tuna dinner and we all settled in for a perfect, peaceful night on the boat.

Tomorrow it is off to Trellis Bay on the far east end of Tortola. Once there, we will have basically sailed around the entire island over three days.
Peace Out
