Loving Life at Oil Nut Bay

We set sail at 7am for Oil Nut Bay on the far North East end of Virgin Gorda about 15 miles away from Guana Island. Our route took us past Trellis Bay, Scrub Island and eventually between Necker Island and Gorda Sound. It was a beautiful day for sailing and we arrived at Oil Nut Bay’s marina before 11:00 AM. Captain Frank was waiting to catch our lines and then shuttle us over to the arrival dock at the beach club. We were so happy to be back; we enjoyed this spot so much with Larry & Dora we had to come back with the Diamonds.
Once we were settled back into this stunningly beautiful spot, Laura led a small yoga class on the beach (just her & Mark to start but she had two random joiners half way through the class!).

The kids played games in the pool and then we all sat down at the outdoor restaurant for a great lunch.
Our friends Christian and Torill from Norway (whom we met at Norman Island) met up with us with their children after lunch. April & Fiona had so much fun swimming with their daughter’s mermaid tail.

Eventually all the adults and kids were in the pool. The adults enjoyed a round of cocktails, while the children had chocolate ice cream at the pool bar.

After a full day at the beach club, we were shuttled back across the water to the marina where we had dinner on Peace Out. April & Griffin enjoyed an evening SUP while we prepared dinner.

After dinner, Christian came over with a deadly jug of Painkillers and we did a little sailor knot tying geek-out session while everyone’s pain was thoroughly killed :)

Enormous day for sure! Peace Out!
