At Home in Praiano

With today being our last day in the Amalfi Coast, and in Italy, it was time to slow down, enjoy our villa, and get organized for traveling to Greece tomorrow.

We spent the morning doing laundry, organizing our belongings and the girls completed all their homework. Then we put together some lunch and took it down to the water for some seaside chill time. After lunch Matt hopped in the water to cool off.

This afternoon April picked lemons...

And made us delicious refreshing frozen lemonades with basil.

We took our lemonades to the pool and had a playful late afternoon swim.

While in the town of Amalfi two days ago, April and Fiona used some of their spending money to buy us a single serve bottle of Limoncello at a souvenir shop. What a sweet and thoughtful gesture! We saved it for our last night and shared it right before we headed out to dinner.

We walked to the little beach in Praiano and had a lovely seafood dinner at La Parita, right on the sea. It turned out to be one of our best meals in Italy and it was a 15 minute walk (not a walk for the faint of heart) from our villa. What a perfect way to finish our time in Italy.

Tomorrow we have an early morning for our flight to the Ionian Islands in Greece.
